Hi! I'm Sophie, virtual assistant, and small business owner 

After studying French and Italian at the University of Manchester, I now live and work remotely in Bristol.  I've successfully run my own online clothing business and have gained tens of thousands of followers and knowledge of the social media marketing world. 

About seven years ago, I started selling my old clothes on Depop. At the time, this was mainly just a hobby for me, and I loved the fact I could buy new clothes with the cash I earned. After a while, I was going into charity shops, car boot sales, and local markets to buy clothes to sell. After a few years, I began to expand my sourcing network over various European locations.

During my 4 years studying French and Italian at University, I became aware that it could be a successful business, however only if I put in the work. I quickly realised, that balancing the demands of exams and coursework alongside building my business proved to be very demanding.

Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), I didn’t have the means to hire someone to help with those all-important admin tasks, which meant teaching myself the works. In retrospect, I'm grateful that I navigated my journey alone.


Throughout these years, I gained invaluable insights into website design, customer service, and especially enhancing online presence. Since setting up my social media accounts, I’ve gained over 78,000 followers combined. My rapid growth on TikTok opened other opportunities like working on various TikTok campaigns, most notably a paid collaboration with Superdry. My task was to upcycle a selection of their vintage collection to inspire TikTok users to reflect on circular and sustainable fashion.

Currently, I'm juggling a few roles in my entrepreneurial journey. Recently, I stepped into the role of a private fashion buyer for a client, leveraging my eye for trends. While managing my online clothing business is still a significant part of my focus, my primary role has shifted towards being a dedicated virtual assistant. I find equal passion in assisting other businesses on their journey to success. Whether it's sharing business insights, providing marketing strategies, or extending a helping hand, I'm fully committed to contributing to the growth of fellow entrepreneurs.

  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
